ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Type-I superconductor

A type-i superconductor is a material that can conduct electricity without any resistance, meaning electricity can flow through it without being lost in the form of heat. It's like a special kind of really conductive metal but only at very cold temperatures—so cold that it can only be achieved in a lab. It's like a wire made of ice that freezes electricity instead of letting it melt away like regular wires do.
