E-commerce is like buying and selling things on the internet. There are different types of e-commerce, just like there are different types of stores in the real world.
The first type is called Business-to-Consumer (B2C). This is when a business sells things directly to people like you and me. Have you ever bought something from Amazon? That's B2C e-commerce.
Another type is called Consumer-to-Consumer (C2C). This is when people sell things to each other online. Have you heard of eBay or Craigslist? Those are examples of C2C e-commerce.
Then, there's Business-to-Business (B2B). This is when businesses sell things to other businesses. For example, a manufacturer might sell parts to another company that makes something else.
There's also Consumer-to-Business (C2B). This is when a consumer sells something to a business. For example, an influencer on Instagram might sell their services to a company that wants to advertise to their followers.
Last but not least, there's Government-to-Business (G2B). This is when a government agency sells something to a business. For example, a city might sell permits to businesses.
So those are the different types of e-commerce. Just like there are different types of stores in the real world, there are different types of ways to buy and sell things on the internet.
