US Lacrosse Women's Division Intercollegiate Associates
Okay kiddo, so you know how some colleges have teams that play sports against other colleges, right? One of the sports that some colleges have a team for is called lacrosse.
Now, there's a special group called US Lacrosse that helps grow and organize the sport of lacrosse all over the country. The group decided to create a special division just for women's college lacrosse teams called the Women's Division Intercollegiate Associates, or the WDIA for short.
So, colleges that have women's lacrosse teams can join the WDIA if they want to. When they join, they get to compete against other colleges in the WDIA and follow special rules that are made just for this division.
