USA-193

USA-193 was a satellite that was launched into space by the United States in 2006. It was used for monitoring Earth's environment and taking pictures from space. In 2008, the satellite stopped working and could no longer be controlled. This caused the United States to worry that the satellite might crash into the Earth, so they decided to shoot it down with a missile. The missile hit the satellite and destroyed it, preventing it from crashing into the Earth.
