Underfunded public school system

Okay, so you know how you go to school every day and you have a teacher who helps you learn new things? Well, imagine if your teacher didn't have enough money to buy new books or technology to help you learn better. That's what it means when we say a public school is underfunded.

Sometimes, the government doesn't give enough money to the schools in certain areas. This means that the school can't hire as many teachers as they need or can't afford to fix things that are broken, like the air conditioning or the playground.

When a school is underfunded, it can be really hard for you to learn all the things you need to know for the future. You might not have access to the latest textbooks or computers, and this can unfortunately lead to a weaker education.

That's why it's important for people to know that sometimes public schools need more money so that everyone can have a fair chance to learn and grow.
