Okay kiddo, so you know how sometimes grown-ups have to make important decisions that affect a lot of people? Well, in the United Kingdom, the people who do this are called the Cabinet Committee.
The Cabinet Committee is made up of a group of important people in the government, like Members of Parliament and leaders of political parties. They get together to discuss important topics, like laws they want to make or problems they need to solve.
Sometimes, these discussions can be really long and complicated, so they break up into smaller groups called sub-committees. These sub-committees focus on specific topics and come up with ideas and solutions to bring back to the larger group.
Once they figure out what they want to do, the Cabinet Committee presents their ideas to the Prime Minister, who is the leader of the government. If the Prime Minister likes their ideas, they can become law and affect many people in the country!
