United States Department of Labor

The United States Department of Labor is a part of the federal government that helps to make sure that everyone in the United States has a safe working environment, that they get paid fairly, and that they are treated fairly and safely at work. The Department of Labor makes sure that companies follow the rules and laws that Congress has set, and enforces those laws. They also help people find and keep jobs, and provide education, training, and financial assistance to help people who are looking for work.
