Upper Egypt

Hey there kiddo, Upper Egypt is the part of Egypt that is in the southern part of the country. You know how we have a head and a body? Well, Egypt kind of looks like a head and the upper part is like the forehead and the lower part is like the neck and chest.

So, Upper Egypt is where the Nile River flows from the south to the north and it is full of really cool things like ancient temples and monuments. It is also a really important part of Egyptian history because it was where some of the pharaohs (which were like the kings) came from.

Some of the really big cities in Upper Egypt are Luxor and Aswan, and they have lots of amazing things to see like the Valley of the Kings where the pharaohs were buried and the Abu Simbel temple with really huge statues of the pharaohs.

Overall, Upper Egypt is a very important and interesting part of Egypt that has lots of cool history and things to see.
