Urban planning in Nazi Germany

Urban planning in Nazi Germany was the science of managing the growth of cities. The Nazis wanted to have complete control over the cities and towns that they ruled, so they used this science to help them do this. They made sure the cities they created looked a certain way—for example, they made sure that buildings were symmetrical and had ceilings that were tall enough to fit Nazi flags (flags with swastikas). The Nazis also made sure only certain types of architecture were used in Nazi Germany. Finally, the Nazis would create large parks and recreational areas so people could have more places to relax and hang out.
