ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Utility helicopter

A utility helicopter is like a big flying car that can lift lots of heavy things and move them around. It has big whirly blades on top that spin really fast and make it go up into the sky. It can also fly forwards, backwards, side to side, and hover in one spot like a magical unicorn.

Lots of different people use utility helicopters for different things. Some people use them to rescue people who are in trouble or need medical help. Others use them to fight fires by dumping water on them. Some people use them to move really heavy things around, like big metal pipes or heavy construction equipment. Sometimes, utility helicopters are even used for fun things like giving people tours of a city or taking pictures of cool things from up in the sky!

But flying a helicopter is not easy. It takes lots of practice and skill to safely move around in the sky. Pilots have to be really careful and pay attention to everything around them so they can avoid crashing into other things or hurting people on the ground. But when they do it right, it can be a really helpful tool for all kinds of important jobs!
