Ground proximity warning system

A ground proximity warning system is kind of like a superhero that helps airplanes avoid crashing into the ground. It's like a special machine that uses fancy technology to figure out exactly how far away the ground is, and if the airplane is getting too close, it gives a loud warning beep to the pilots to help them take action to climb back up safely into the sky.

It has sensors and knows the shape of the Earth so it can tell how much space is between the airplane and the ground. It also knows how fast the airplane is going and how quickly it's descending. If the airplane is getting too close to the ground too fast, the warning system tells the pilots to do something to avoid getting closer.

This superhero machine helps keep airplanes safe and makes sure they don't crash into the ground. So, the next time you're flying in an airplane, you can feel safe knowing that the ground proximity warning system is watching out for you.
