ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Uzziah

Uzziah is a name from a long time ago in a place called Israel. He was a king who ruled during a time when people didn't have planes, cars, or phones. Instead, they used things like horses and chariots to get around, and wrote on scroll paper instead of using computers.

Uzziah was a very good king who did a lot of good things for his people. He built up strong walls around his cities to protect them from enemies, and made sure that his army was strong and well-trained. He also encouraged people to worship their god and to do good things for each other.

However, Uzziah also made a mistake. He thought that he could do everything by himself and didn't need anyone else's help. So, he tried to do something that only special people were supposed to do. As a result, he got a disease that made him sick for the rest of his life.

So, the story of Uzziah tells us that we need to know when to ask for help and not try to do everything by ourselves. It also reminds us to be good leaders and to take care of the people around us.
