Van Gogh is a man who lived a long time ago and became very famous for his paintings. He really loved bright colors and painting things that he saw in nature. He would often go outside and paint flowers, trees, and the sky. He also painted people and even himself!
Van Gogh lived a very interesting life. He really wanted to be an artist but sometimes it was hard for him. He would sometimes get sad and wasn't always happy. But, he always kept painting because it made him feel better.
One of his most famous paintings is called "Starry Night." It shows a beautiful night sky with lots of bright stars and swirls of glowing colors. When you look at it, you can almost feel like you are in the painting!
Unfortunately, Van Gogh died when he was still pretty young. He wasn't really famous when he was alive, but after he died, people started to really appreciate his art. Now, lots of people love and admire his paintings all over the world.
