Vectorization (mathematics)

Vectorization is a way of comparing numbers in a way that is easy to understand. Think of vectorization like comparing two pieces of fruit: if you compare an apple and a banana, you will end up with something called a vector. It's like an arrow pointing in a certain direction that shows the difference between the two pieces of fruit. So if the apple weighs one pound and the banana weighs two pounds, the vector will point towards the banana. Vectorization is the same way with numbers. You can compare two numbers and the vector will point in the direction of the bigger number. It's a way to quickly compare numbers and see which one is bigger.
