ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Vehicular automation

Vehicular automation is when a car can drive itself without somebody needing to steer it. It uses computers, radar, and cameras to detect things that are around the car, like other cars, people, animals, and traffic signals. The computers can tell the car what to do, like when to slow down and when to turn. Some cars have this technology and can do almost everything a human driver can do.
