Venus Express

So, Venus Express was a spaceship that went to Venus, which is a planet in our solar system that's really close to Earth. It went there to study what the planet is like and to learn more about it.

The spaceship had lots of instruments on it, kind of like special tools that scientists use to learn new things. One of the things it studied was the atmosphere of Venus, which is like a big blanket of gases around the planet. Venus has a really thick atmosphere, which means that it's hard to see what's underneath it, like the surface of the planet.

But Venus Express was able to use special tools to look through the atmosphere and see the surface. It found out that the surface is really rocky and has lots of big mountains and deep valleys.

The spaceship also studied the weather on Venus, which is very different than Earth's weather. Venus is really hot, much hotter than Earth, and it has lots of storms with lightning and strong winds.
