A timeline of artificial satellites and space probes is a list of all the man-made things that have been launched into space or around Earth over the years. These could be things like satellites, which help us send messages over long distances, or probes which help us to explore other planets. Every time something is launched into space the date is recorded, so the timeline is a way to look back on how far we have come in exploring space.
