Vermin

Vermin is a fancy word for animals that we don't want in our homes or around us. Things like mice, rats, cockroaches or other insects can all be considered vermin. They can be sneaky and sometimes they make us feel scared or uncomfortable because we don't like them near us.

Sometimes, vermin can also be dangerous because they can carry diseases or cause damage to our homes. We need to do our best to keep vermin away by keeping our homes clean and tidy, storing food properly, and making sure there are no holes or cracks for them to get in through.

If we do spot any vermin, it's important to tell a grown-up, so they can help us get rid of them and make our homes safe and clean.
