Vestment

A vestment is a special piece of clothing that some people wear when they are doing religious things, like giving a sermon or leading a prayer. The vestment is usually made out of very fancy fabric and has symbols or designs on it that are important to the religion. It can also be a specific color that represents different things in the religion. Just like how you might wear your nicest clothes to a special event, people who wear vestments want to show respect and honor for their religious traditions.
