Vetting

Vetting is like checking if something is safe or good. Just like how your mom and dad make sure the animal you want to bring home is healthy and won’t hurt you or your family, people have to check if something or someone is good before they can let them do something or join a group. They ask lots of questions and sometimes even check their background to make sure they won’t cause any problems. It’s like doing a background check to make sure everything is A-okay before letting someone or something be a part of something else.
