Vibration calibrator

A vibration calibrator is a special tool that helps people test and make sure that other tools they use to measure vibration are working properly. Imagine you have a toy drum that makes noise when you hit it with a stick. The vibration calibrator is like hitting the drum with a special stick to make sure it's making the right noise at the right volume.

When grown-ups use tools to measure vibrations, they use a special unit called hertz (Hz). The vibration calibrator helps them know that their tools will correctly measure vibrations that are 1 hertz (1 Hz) or more. It does this by shaking really fast at a certain speed that the grown-ups have decided is the perfect speed to test their tools.

Think about shaking your toy rattle really fast. The vibration calibrator shakes even faster, but instead of making a fun rattling noise, it helps grown-ups figure out if their tools are working properly.
