Video game art

When you play a video game, you see pictures and images on the screen, right? Well, those pictures are called video game art. Just like how you draw pictures in your coloring book, artists draw pictures on a computer for video games.

They use special programs that let them make really detailed pictures with lots of colors and shapes. They start by drawing a bunch of different characters, like cute animals or scary monsters, and then they give them different colors and clothes so they look unique. They also make backgrounds for the characters, like a forest or a castle, and add details like trees, mountains, or clouds.

But it's not just about making things look pretty - the artists also have to make the pictures work with the game. For example, they need to make sure the characters can move and jump and climb, and that they don't look weird or unnatural. They also need to make sure the backgrounds and objects in the game look right from all angles, so the player can move around without getting confused.

Video game art is really important for making a fun and exciting game. It can make the game world look magical and amazing, and it helps us get lost in the game and forget about everything else for a while.
