Vinok

Vinok is a word that comes from a language called Ukrainian. Vinok is a beautiful and colorful wreath made out of flowers, leaves, and other decorations. People in Ukraine make vinoks for special occasions like weddings, celebrations, and festivals. They wear them on their heads like a crown and they make a person look very pretty or handsome. The colors and kinds of flowers and leaves used in vinoks are very important and they have special meanings. Vinoks are a very old tradition and they have been made for thousands of years. Nowadays, people in Ukraine still make vinoks and they are very proud of their beautiful wreaths.
