ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Virtual cinematography

Virtual cinematography is like making movies on a computer. Instead of needing to film a scene on a real movie set, with actors, cameras, lights and all kinds of equipment, you can use your computer and some special software to create the same kind of scene, without ever having to leave your house. You can put your characters into different backgrounds, create realistic environments, and make the characters move around like you were filming them in real life. It's a way to make movies without having to buy a lot of expensive equipment or travel to a movie set.
