ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Virtual printer

Okay kiddo, so imagine you have a magical printer that doesn't need ink, paper, or actually exist in the real world! That's a virtual printer.

When you click print on your computer, instead of sending the page to a physical printer, it sends it to the virtual printer. The virtual printer then takes that page and turns it into a digital file, like a PDF, that you can save on your computer or send to someone else.

It's like having a secret helper that takes care of all your printing needs without ever using actual ink or paper. Pretty cool, huh?
