Virtue epistemology

Virtue epistemology is like a sports team. Every team needs different players who have special talents and skills to make the team work. It is the same with knowledge. Virtue epistemology is based on the idea that just like the team needs many different players, certain skills and knowledge can help contribute to gaining knowledge. Virtue epistemology then looks at the qualities or 'virtues' that help people get knowledge. These virtues include traits like carefulness, open-mindedness and fairness. A person with these kinds of skills and qualities can be better at finding, understanding and accepting knowledge.
