ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Visa policy of Macau

Visa policy of Macau is like a special pass that grown-ups need to have when they want to visit Macau (a place that is kind of like a big neighborhood with lots of fun things to see and do). Just like you need to have your parents' permission to go visit your friend's house, grown-ups need to have special permission to visit Macau.

Now, different countries have different rules about who needs to get the special permission and how they can get it. Some countries have a really easy way to get the permission, like if you just tell them you want to go to Macau, they'll give it to you right away.

But some countries are more strict and need to check if you're a good person and won't do anything bad in Macau. They might ask you some questions about where you live, what you do for work, and if you have a criminal record.

So, if a grown-up wants to visit Macau, they need to find out what the rules are for their country and then do what is necessary to get the special permission. Once they have the special pass or permission, they can go and have fun in Macau!
