ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Voicemail

Hey kiddo, have you ever missed a call from someone important and they left a message for you? Well, that message they left is called a voicemail!

It's like a little memo that someone records for you when they call you and you're not able to pick up the phone. It's kinda like a mini recording of their voice that you can listen to later.

When you get a voicemail, your phone company saves it for you so that you can listen to it whenever you want. You can also delete it if you don't need it anymore.

Some people like to leave really long voicemails, while others keep it short and sweet. Either way, it's a helpful tool for communication when you can't answer the phone right away.

And that's what voicemail is, kiddo! A way to leave a little message for someone when they can't answer the phone.
