Voter suppression in the United States

Voter suppression means that people are not allowed to vote, or are discouraged from voting. In the United States, some people who are trying to stop certain groups of people from voting are called " opponents". These opponents might do things like make it harder for certain groups of people to register to vote, or they might pass laws that make it harder for certain people to vote. They might also spread false or misleading information about voting to try to confuse people and stop them from using their right to vote.
