W3C Geolocation API

The W3C Geolocation API helps websites and apps figure out where you are in the world. It works by using information like your IP address or GPS signal from your phone. With that information, the website or app can then figure out its latitude and longitude coordinates so it can show you the relevant information for your location, like the weather or nearby restaurants.
