Who is someone that asks questions. A person who wants to find out more about something will often ask who, what, when, where, why, and how questions. When you ask who, you're trying to find out the names of people involved in something. For example, "Who won the Super Bowl?" means you're trying to find out the name of the team who won the Super Bowl.
