War poet

Okay kiddo, so a war poet is a person who writes poems about war. Poems are like really short stories that are written in a special way to make them sound really nice when you read them out loud.

When people go to war, they see and experience a lot of things that can be really scary and hard to understand. Sometimes they need a way to express how they feel and what they're going through, and that's where war poets come in.

War poets write poems to help people understand what it's like to be in a war, and to help the people who are fighting feel like someone understands them. They use words and language to paint pictures in our minds, so we can imagine what it's like to be in the middle of a battle, or to see your friends hurt or killed.

Even though war poets can make us feel sad or scared or angry, their poems also help us see the beauty and bravery that can exist in the midst of all that darkness. They remind us that even in terrible situations, people can still love and care for each other, and that we should always work for peace and understanding.
