Warming stripes

Warming stripes (also called "climate stripes") are colorful stripes that show how temperatures around the world have been getting warmer over time. Each stripe represents one year, and each color represents a different temperature. The stripes start at blue (cold) and end at red (hot). Warming stripes help us to see that temperatures in our world are rising, which is caused by global warming. Very simply, when you look at a warming stripe it shows how hot or cold it has been over the years.
