Warp drive

A warp drive is a technology, or a way of travelling, that we don't have yet but scientists are working on. It is a way to travel in space faster than the speed of light, which is the fastest speed that anything can travel. It works by creating a "warp bubble" around a spaceship which bends the space around it so that the spaceship can travel really quickly from one place to another. Right now, the technology doesn't exist, but if it is ever invented, it could let us travel much, much farther and faster than we can now.
