Washdown

Washdown is the process of cleaning something by using water. Just like how you wash your hands or take a bath with water, washdown involves using water to clean things like floors, machines, and even animals!

During washdown, water is sprayed or poured onto the surface that needs to be cleaned. This helps to remove dirt, dust, and other unwanted things that might be on the surface. Sometimes, special soap or cleaning agents are added to the water to make washdown even more effective.

After the surface has been sprayed with water, it needs to be dried off. This can be done using towels or by just letting the surface air dry.

Washdown is important because it helps to keep things clean and hygienic. For example, when a food processing plant uses washdown to clean their machines and surfaces, it helps to prevent contamination and keep the food safe to eat.
