Water privatisation

Okay kiddo, water privatization is when a company owns and controls the supply of water instead of the government. Just like how you can buy candy from the store, a company can buy the rights to supply the water you drink, bathe in, and use around your home.

But some people worry that a private company might only care about making money and not about keeping the water safe and affordable for everyone. The government, on the other hand, has a responsibility to make sure everyone has access to clean water and that it's not too expensive.

Water privatization is a big topic and has many different opinions. Some people think it's good because it brings in competition which can make things better and cheaper. Other people believe that water is a basic need for everyone and should not be used for profit.

In short, water privatization is when a company takes over the supply of water and some people think it's good, while others think it's not.
