Water transfer printing is like magic. It's a way to put really pretty designs on things like cups or toys or even cars!
First, you have to pick a design you like. It can be anything you want! Then, you print the design on a special kind of paper called hydrographic film.
Next, you fill a big tub with water and mix in some special chemicals. The chemicals make the design stick to things when you dip them in the water.
Now, you put your design in the water, face down. You have to be careful not to let the film get wrinkled or bunched up.
Then, you put the thing you want the design on in the water, too. Maybe it's a toy car or a bike helmet. You dip it in the water slowly and carefully, until it's all the way underwater.
When you take it out of the water, the design suddenly sticks to it like magic! It's like the design was hiding in the water and jumped onto your thing.
Now your thing looks really cool with the new design. It's a tricky process, but it's really fun to watch the design come alive like that.
