ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Watersaw

So imagine you have a straw that you like drinking from. Now, instead of sucking in from one end of the straw, what if you pushed water into the other end really fast? The water would shoot out the other side in a powerful stream, right?

Now, imagine a much bigger straw, with a really strong pump pushing water through it. This is a water saw. It shoots out water at high pressure, almost like a water gun, but with more force. When it hits something hard, like a rock or a piece of metal, the pressure is so strong that it cuts it in half! It can even cut through things like concrete and steel.

It's like a superhero power for water - it can slice through tough materials like butter! But just like with other powerful tools, you have to be careful when using a watersaw so that you don't hurt yourself or others.
