Weather god

Okay, so have you ever looked up at the sky and seen rain or snow or sunshine? Well, some people in the past believed that there were special beings called weather gods who controlled what type of weather we had.

They believed that if they did things like praying or making sacrifices to the weather gods, then the gods would be happy and give them good weather. But if they didn't do these things or did things that made the weather gods mad, then they would get bad weather like storms or droughts.

However, now we know that weather is actually controlled by things like the sun's energy, the Earth's rotation, and ocean currents. So even though it's really cool to learn about these old beliefs, we don't actually believe in weather gods anymore because we have scientific explanations for weather.
