Wedge cap

Okay, so imagine you have a plate on the table. The plate is flat, and nothing is on it. Now, imagine you have a bigger plate that you want to put on top of the smaller plate. But, you don't want the bigger plate to slip off the smaller plate. That's where the wedge cap comes in.

The wedge cap is basically a small, triangular-shaped object that you put underneath the bigger plate. This helps keep the bigger plate from slipping off the smaller plate. The shape of the wedge cap is important because it creates a slope, or angle, that makes it harder for the bigger plate to slide off.

So, think of the wedge cap like a mini ramp that helps keep the bigger plate in place. Without it, the bigger plate might slide off the smaller plate and make a big mess. But with the wedge cap, everything stays put and you can enjoy your meal without any worries.
