Well House

A well house is a little house that covers a well, which is a hole in the ground that leads down to water. The well house helps keep the well protected from things like dirt, rain, and animals. It also keeps people safe by making sure they don't accidentally fall into the well. Inside the well house, there might be a pump that helps get the water out of the well and into the house for things like drinking, bathing, and washing clothes. So basically, a well house is like a little shelter for a hole that gives us clean water.
