Some people like to go to the beach and play in the sand or swim in the ocean. Other people like to hike in the mountains and see beautiful views. People also love to eat delicious food in the West Coast, like fish and seafood because they are caught fresh from the ocean.

The weather is different than other parts of the United States, it is usually warmer and sunnier in California, but can be rainy and cool in Washington and Oregon. That is why it's important to wear hats and sunscreen when you go outside in California!
