ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Whiteprint

Whiteprint is a type of paper used to make copies of documents. It's called whiteprint because it looks like white paper with black lines and shapes on it. It's used to make copies of buildings, maps and other documents that need to be drawn exactly. It works by pressing a piece of whiteprint paper into a special machine (called a blueprint machine) and then a light is shone through. The light goes through the document and the whiteprint paper and copies it, so you can have a copy of the original document.
