Wildmat

Wildmat is a way for a computer program to search for text and patterns in a document. It is like a way for the computer to try and find something in a big jumble of words. It works by having the computer create a "test" that it runs on all the words in the document. The test checks for both simple words and more complicated patterns. If the test finds something it was looking for, the computer will remember that it found it so it can be used later.
