Wind power in Japan

Okay kiddo, so you know how wind is the air moving around us? Well, sometimes people use big tall machines called wind turbines to capture that moving air and turn it into electricity.

Now, in Japan, they have been using wind turbines for a while to make electricity because they want to find more ways to make energy that doesn't make pollution and hurt the planet.

The wind turbines are usually put in places that are really windy, like on tall hills or out in the ocean. But sometimes people nearby might not want to see the big wind turbines or hear the noise they make, so they have to find a good place where people won't be bothered by them.

Japan's government has been trying to encourage more people to use wind power and give them money to make more wind turbines. That way they can make more electricity without hurting the planet with pollution.

It's important to take care of the Earth, right kiddo? Using wind power is one way that Japan and other countries are doing their part to keep the Earth clean and healthy.
