Window blind

Okay kiddo, do you know what a window is? It's like a big hole in the wall where light and air can come in. A window blind is like a special cover that you put over the window. It's made up of slats that you can slide up and down or rotate to let in just the right amount of light.

Imagine you have a giant piece of paper that covers your window. It's nice and dark, but you can't see anything outside. Now imagine somebody cuts little slits in that paper so you can see out, but it still blocks some of the light. That's what a window blind does!

There are many different kinds of blinds, but most of them have a cord that you can pull to make the blind go up or down. Some blinds will also have a stick that you can use to rotate the slats to let in more or less light.

Blinds can be made out of all sorts of materials like wood, plastic or fabric. They can also come in different colors and styles, so you can pick one that matches your room.
