Women in NASA

NASA stands for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. It is an organization in the United States that is responsible for sending people and things into space. Women have always been part of NASA and have made important contributions. Women have been part of the space program for a long time, but for most of the history, the majority of astronauts and other people who work in space were men. In recent years, more and more women have been hired to work at NASA and have been astronauts on missions in space. Women are now doing some of the most important work at NASA like flying spaceships, repairing satellites, and working on experiments and projects that can help us learn more about outer space. NASA is now working to make more opportunities available to women and encourage more women to become a part of the space program.
