Women in space

Women have been exploring space since the very beginning of human space exploration. In 1963, Valentina Tereshkova became the first woman in space. She was part of a mission in which she spent three days in space. Since then, many other women have gone into space and explored new worlds. They have been part of important missions to the moon, Mars, and beyond! Women are now just as important as men when it comes to exploring space and understanding the universe.
