Women rabbis

So, you know how there are people called rabbis who lead religious services and teach about the Jewish religion? Well, for a long time, only men could become rabbis. But then some women started to feel like they wanted to become rabbis too, because they loved the Jewish religion and wanted to help other people learn about it and feel close to it.

At first, some people didn't like the idea of women being rabbis. They thought that only men should do that job. But over time, more and more people realized that women could be great rabbis too, and that it was okay for them to lead services and teach about the Jewish religion.

Now, there are lots of women rabbis all over the world! They work in synagogues and schools and all kinds of places, and they help people connect with their faith and feel like they're part of a community. It's really cool that women can do this job too, and it's a sign that we're always learning and growing as a society.
