Wood laundering

Wood laundering is when companies illegally buy wood from forests that are not supposed to be logged. It is like laundering money, where companies try to hide where the wood is coming from. Companies use documents and contracts to make it look like the wood is from another country, so it can be sold without anyone knowing where it really came from. It is illegal and can have a lot of negative effects on the environment.
